This textile is made with a traditional sopari design, which involves laying out a geometric design meticulously before printing. Razzakbhai created this double sided, which is traditional for Ajrakh. Stories say that double sided fabrics go back to the days when farmers woke up so early, there wasn't enough light to tell if their lungi was on backwards, and so a double sided print saved them from embarrassment! During the printing process of this textile, Razzak stamped the block 150 times.
